The new campus will house the college’s Creative and Digital Arts, as well as the Health and Social Sciences departments.

Work on the campus is expected to be completed by summer 2019 and will be ready for the 2019/2020 academic year.

"Work on the campus is expected to be completed by summer 2019 and will be ready for the 2019/2020 academic year."

The new facility is being partly funded by a £33m grant from the Leeds City Region Local Growth Deal, which is administered by the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (the LEP).

Designed by Ellis Williams Architects, the campus will be located at Eastgate and will be located alongside Leeds College of Music, West Yorkshire Playhouse and the Northern Ballet Theatre, which was built by Wates in 2010.

This award represents one of the largest education contracts secured by Wates in Yorkshire.

Wates recently completed Leeds City Council’s Gledhow Primary School ahead of schedule.
