ASIA
One Alimak elevator with 2000 kg payload capacity is currently being installed on the cyclone preheater tower at the new Ha Long cement plant located in the province of Quang Minh near Ha Long in Vietnam. The elevator will have a total lifting height of 94 metres and has frequency controlled motors for smooth operation.
A second Alimak elevator to be supplied to Vietnam is for Hoang Thach cement plant, which is the largest cement factory in Vietnam. There are more than 7,000 tones of cement produced from here everyday. The elevator will have a total lifting height of 102 metres, 2 000 kg payload capacity and will be installed on the plants preheater tower.
AFRICA
One Alimak elevator is being installed at Ramliya cement plant in Egypt located near the city of Suez with a lifting height of 108 metres and a capacity of 2000kg. The elevator will be used for service and inspection work on the preheater tower.
Furthermore two Alimak elevators has been installed on Ciment Blanc Algerien (CIBA) new plant located in the north-western part of Algeria. The new greenfield white cement plant will have a capacity of 1500 tonnes per day. One elevator is installed on the preheater with a lifting height of 106 m and 2400 kg payload capacity. The second elevator has 48.5 m lifting height and 1000 kg payload capacity and is installed on a silo.
MIDDLE EAST
A 2,400 kg capacity Alimak elevator has been installed on a preheater on Emirates Cement Company’s new cement plant in the Fujairah province of the United Arab Emirates. The lifting height is 101m. Another Alimak elevator with 1000 kg capacity has been installed on the silo reaching 69.7m lifting height. Both elevators are equipped with frequency controlled motors.
AMERICAS
Six Alimak elevators has been ordered this year for cement plants in the United States and one elevator for a cement plant in Colombia: American Cement, Keystone Cement, DP&L Stuart Limestone, Rinker Cement, Cemex West Sacramento, Cemex Balcones and Cementos Columbia.
