Steni is a UK-based manufacturer of technologically advanced composite panels. While most traditional building materials have a limited life, steni composite cladding panels are specified for applications designed to last over 60 years without loss of functional effectiveness.
Composite, the facade material of the future
All our products are made of FRP (fibre reinforce Polymer), often referred to as “composite”. Composite material has inherent strength and formability qualities as such they are being used today in many high performance sectors such as Aerospace, Motoring and construction (bridges, wind turbines…). Composite are an incredibly versatile product, and that is why they are of growing importance in architecture, cladding, house
building and modular construction, where conventional materials cannot meet required specifications and standards such as fire ratings, impact resistance and weight considerations.
Environmentally friendly facade panels
Products made from FRP materials can offer significant environmental benefits too. During the development and production of steni facade panels, we also emphasize on environmental issues. This applies to both resource and energy consumption during the production process, as well as the final product’s impact on the environment. Tests confirm that steni facade panels are amongst the most environmental friendly products on the
market.
Product description
Steni supply the UK market with a wide range of smooth (steni colour) or aggregate (steni nature and Imago) surface cladding panels. Being a UK based manufacturer, steni offers enhanced service to specifier and contractor alike by having flexible leads times and tighter delivery schedules.
Facade panel with a smooth surface finish
Steni colour facade panel is a fibreglass reinforced polymer composite panel, with a smooth surface of electron beam cured acrylic (100% acrylic, without the use of solvents). Steni colour is available in 44 standard colours and can be delivered in three different gloss levels; M (matt), HM (half matt) and HG (high gloss). In addition to this steni colour can be delivered in almost any special colour from the NCS-, RAL- or BS- colour system.
Facade panel with a surface of crushed natural stone
Steni nature is a facade panel with a surface of crushed natural stones. Steni nature is offered in 24 different colours, and 5 different grades; type FM (fine micro), F (fine), M (medium), C (coarse) and CT (coarse tumbled). The stones come from different parts of Europe, and the facade panel is developed to give a natural appearance and is also very suitable in combination with other materials like wood and plaster.
Facade panel with a ceramic-coloured aggregate surface
Steni imago is the perfect alternative to external rendering system. Steni imago facade panel is a fibreglass reinforced polymer composite panel with a surface of ceramic-coloured fine natural stone. Through the ceramic-colouring process, with temperatures of more than 900 C, we achieve special colours with a high degree of resistance to UV-rays, and the colours are a supplement to what nature can’t supply. steni imago is offered in 11 standard colours, and 4 standard mixed
colours.
Anti-slip surface products
Steni UK is also the manufacturer of high performance Antislip products made from super-tough, durable composite material.
Antislip is suitable for ramps, step covers, walkways, pontoons, bridges & deckings. Its fine aggregate surface is over bonded with clear resin to give a long lasting Antislip surface. Antislip fits easily on your old and new ramps, steps and platforms. Suitable for timber, metal and concrete.
