MTH Concertto metal façade system
The MTH Concertto product family and its different applications offer new and high-quality material alternatives for buildings’ exterior and interior surfaces and ceilings. Combining the best qualities of façade cassettes and profiled sheets, one MTH Concertto façade sheet contains several embossed panels in the form of squares or rectangles. The MTH Concertto products are perfectly suited to both flat and curved facades and the product is ideal for new buildings and renovation projects. The MTH Concertto system provides significant improvements in construction design and assembly time as well as in the visual outcome.
Typical applications for the products are public, commercial, and industrial buildings and halls. The MTH Concertto products are designed, dimensioned and manufactured project-specifically by utilizing the modular lines of the building. The panel widths in different product versions are fixed, and the panel length can be freely chosen between limit values. The sheets are always dimensioned between centre points of the mounting slots in the sheet or centre points of the extension joint edges.
The delivery process begins with making the necessary plans for the project. This includes taking into account the raw materials, product types, lengths of sheets and panels, installation direction, and corner structures. The product is implemented in the ArchiCAD software application with separate GDL objects to facilitate design.
GDL design tools for visualization of external claddings
A GDL (geometric description language) object is a design tool used to present the product in 3D format in the design software. The designer can use the GDL objects with the ArchiCAD software package, but the objects are compatible with several other international design applications as well. The objects function as design tools and they are coded with automated functions for dimensioning and design of the structure and skeleton. The designer can be creative and compile the facade from different MTH Concertto product alternatives, also comparing model and colour options.
A separate MTH Concertto –material package for designers and builders is available by request. The package includes for example design and installation instructions, GDL-objects with user instructions and samples of standard colours.
Aluminium and hot-dip galvanized steel facades
The MTH Concertto product family consists of four basic MTH Concertto product type alternatives (models 12A, 66A, 444A and 3333A) and a number of further developed models such as MTH Concertto Acusto and MTH Concertto Vivo. Standard raw material is either aluminium or hot-dip galvanized steel sheet with PVDF coating (with protective film), but products are also available with powder coating or paint for special applications.
