Welty Building Company has completed the second phase of construction of the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Ohio, US.
The new National Football League-caliber outdoor football stadium is the first of ten components of the nearly $800m Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village project led by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Industrial Realty Group (IRG).

With a capacity of 23,000 people, the stadium features 968 club-level seats, 28,000ft² of premium event space, sky-level terrace, and a sprawling terrace overlooking the stadium.
The activated windows of the stadium raise up vertically into the ceiling.

As part of the project, Welty partnered with the East Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council as well as its president David Kirven.
During the second phase of construction, 140,000 cubic yards of dirt was moved, while 2,400t of steel and 10,800 cubic yards of concrete were used.
Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium will be home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls and also to other events throughout the year.
A concourse and permanent seating will also be added in the east end zone that will be completed in time for the 2018 Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls.
