Dubai is set to develop Therme Dubai, a well-being resort and interactive park, with an estimated Dh2bn ($544m) of investment.

Set to be developed within Zabeel Park, the initiative is a collaboration with Therme Group and aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan's vision for vibrant, healthy communities.

The Therme Dubai project is anticipated to be completed by 2028 and will be funded via a consortium of local and international financing partners.

The development aims to foster a wholesome environment for residents and visitors, enhancing Dubai’s global competitiveness and medical tourism sector.

Spanning 500,000ft² and standing 100m tall, Therme Dubai is designed to host up to 1.7 million visitors annually.

It will feature natural therapeutic zones, thermal pools, and dedicated floors for well-being and relaxation, including a Michelin-starred restaurant and a play area with 15 waterslides.

The development will offer an array of amenities such as three 18m waterfalls and expansive 4,500m² indoor and terrace pools, all adhering to sustainable engineering principles and utilising clean energy sources.

The project will recycle 90% of its water and meet 80% of its fresh air and cooling needs through clean energy.

Therme Dubai will encompass three zones, the Play Zone for family entertainment, the Relax Zone with relaxation pools and natural treatments, and the Restore Zone for rejuvenation with saunas and steam rooms.

Guests will also enjoy luxurious spa treatments inspired by global bathing traditions such as Roman, Turkish, and Japanese baths, as well as Nordic saunas.

The resort will also offer a range of art activities, enhanced by technology for a better experience.
