YIT has signed a project management contract with Cloudberry Development for a real estate complex project to be built near the front slopes of Levi Ski Resort in Finland.
The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
The second construction phase of Icy Hot Chalet Levi ski-in/ski-out holiday apartments, named KKoy Levi Lingonberry, encompasses approximately 6,200 gross square metres.
This project comprises 41 chalet apartments, a semidetached house, a parking hall, and a commercial premises unit.
The latest phase will maintain an architectural style consistent with the first phase.
In April 2022, YIT and Cloudberry Development signed a contract to build a Chalet complex near the Levi Ski Resort.
The facade of the buildings will be clad in ecological, maintenance-free, and durable heat-treated timber.
The apartments will range from 55.5m² to 175.5m².
Arkkitehtitoimisto DC3 Design & Consulting is serving as the main designer and Sweco Finland is handling the architectural and technical building systems design.
Meanwhile, WSP Finland is responsible for the structural design.
YIT project manager Pekka Taskila said: “It is a pleasure and an honour to be able to work on such a project in the fells of Lapland. In good cooperation with the project partners, we have developed a special and interesting entity that complements the properties of the first phase.”
Construction work for the second phase has already begun, with completion expected in September to October 2025.
Last month, YIT signed a contract with Agrokoncernas Group to build a cow farm complex in the Radviliškis region of Lithuania.
