Wood Partners, along with German capital partner EIG EuroInvestor, has announced the official ground-breaking of Alta Westover Hills, a luxury residential project in San Antonio, Texas, US.
Located on the west side of San Antonio at 10718 State Highway 151, this project forms part of the master-planned development of Westover Hills, which hosts more than 30,000 employees.
Expected to open in June 2025, the latest project marks Wood Partners’ 12th development in south/central Texas.
Wood Partners managing director Bart Barrett said: “We were drawn to the Texas Hill Country's rich history, which will be celebrated throughout the community with design elements such as shiplap, board-and-batten siding and natural earth tone colours.
“With its prime location, unique features and amenities, Alta Westover Hills is an excellent addition to our San Antonio portfolio.”
EIG managing partner Kilian Kagel added: “We are very happy to have joined Wood Partners in this great opportunity. It'll be a perfect addition to this San Antonio submarket and we can't wait to see it come to life.”
The property will feature 312 apartments, ranging from one to three-bedroom units, each featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and full-sized washers and dryers.
Select residential units will feature a private garden.
Alta Westover Hills is set to provide residents with a variety of on-site amenities, including a resort-style pool, a clubroom, a fitness centre, business and conference facilities, and entertainment spaces.
It will also feature kitchen and dining areas, along with a dog park. All common areas will offer wireless connectivity and incorporate the latest in audiovisual technology.
Last year, Wood Partners broke ground on Alta Grandway in Katy, Texas.
Since 2017, Wood Partners has developed or is completing 12 communities, which total 3,460 units across the state of Texas.
