US-based real estate developer Wood Partners has broken ground on its new residential community Alta Grandway in Katy, Texas, US.

As construction progresses, Alta Grandway is planned to open pre-leasing in early 2024 and welcome residents by May of that year.

Alta Grandway will feature 336 apartment units in a garden-style community, with one, two, and three-bedroom customised floor plans.

Each property will include modern interior finishes complemented by high-end fixtures to serve its residents.

Stainless-steel appliance packages, granite countertops, designer tile backsplash tiling, 42in cabinetry and wood-style flooring in the living areas and carpeted bedrooms, as well as added full-size in-unit washer and dryer sets, are among its included amenities.

Wood Partners' managing director Bart Barrett said: “We are thrilled to break ground on Alta Grandway.

“The community’s location offers prospective residents a reasonable cost of living, access to exceptional nearby employment opportunities, and is zoned to the award-winning school district Katy ISD [Independent School District].

“Wood Partners is excited to continue our growth in the greater Houston market and create remarkable living experiences for our future residents.”

Alta Grandway residents will have access to a range of facilities such as a resort-style pool and outdoor kitchen, as well as an on-site pet park featuring an indoor dog washing station.

Furthermore, residents will have access to the community’s fitness centre, clubroom, business centre, and conference and entertainment areas, all of which will have wireless connectivity and audio/visual equipment.
