WakeCap, a smart solutions provider for construction site management, has reached a partnership agreement with construction camera solutions provider EarthCam.

The partnership aims to strengthen the two companies’ offerings for the construction industry within Saudi Arabia.

It will see EarthCam's visual data integrated with WakeCap's technology on construction sites throughout the kingdom.

WakeCap CEO and co-founder Hassan Albalawi said: “WakeCap’s technology solution, with its easy-to-implement software and hardware, has demonstrated significant improvements for our construction clients.

“WakeCap digitises data collection, allowing site owners to understand exactly what’s happening on complex, large-scale projects, harnessing real-time insights to streamline operations. Uniting with EarthCam, a world leader in livestreaming video, time-lapse cameras, and AI analytics, will allow both companies to further enhance their ‘contech’ offering.”

The partnership is also part of EarthCam's expanding presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

EarthCam provides solutions for project monitoring and time-lapse documentation with rapid deployment capabilities.

The company’s visual data is said to improve safety on construction sites and produce construction time-lapse videos globally.

Its innovations in edge computer vision and AI object-detection software are noted to further enhance worker efficiency and risk mitigation for stakeholders.

EarthCam CEO and founder Brian Cury said: “EarthCam’s visual data, combined with WakeCap’s telematics solutions, will deliver powerful new insights for construction project management teams.

“This alignment with WakeCap will provide new capabilities for our shared clients in the KSA [Kingdom of Saudi Arabia] and beyond.”

The collaboration is supported by Monsha'at (for small and medium-sized enterprises/SMEs) in the country.

Monsha'at, established in 2016 under the Saudi Ministry of Commerce, plays a role in regulating, supporting, and developing the SME sector in the kingdom.

Last month, WakeCap entered into a strategic partnership with US-based OpenSpace, aiming to bring global technology to the domestic Saudi market.
