American holding company Vollers has announced the strategic acquisition of Layout, a construction survey company based in New Jersey. 

The transaction is set to enhance Vollers' services range in the industry through its operationally independent entities.  

Upon the deal's completion, Vollers' current president Brendan Murray will take on the role of Layout president while Giuseppe Messina Jr from Vollers has been appointed as the new Survey vice-president at Layout. 

Meanwhile, James Flores from Layout will serve as the new director of project management. 

Murray said: “Success in construction is not just about project completion; it’s about fostering a culture of efficiency, innovation, and excellence.  

“We are not just building projects; we are building companies that lead the construction industry. Adding Layout to the Vollers family of companies enriches our mission and enhances our service offerings across the entire construction community.” 

The acquired company has a track record in managing complex infrastructure projects, which is expected to complement Vollers' existing management capabilities.

With nearly seven decades of experience, Vollers specialises in facilitating various private, commercial, and public projects.  

Built by founders Herb and Nancy Vollers, the company's portfolio now includes Layout alongside the previously acquired Vollers Excavating, HVI Services, Aspen Landscaping, and Assuncao Brothers.
