McShane Construction Company has completed the construction of an affordable community named Veranda at Assembly in Doraville, Georgia, US.
Constructed for The Integral Group, a repeat client, the development will cater to adults aged 55 and over.
Designed by architecture company Dynamik Design, the four-storey wood-framed building, featuring a masonry and siding exterior, is located on the north-east side of Atlanta.
The community includes a café, a fitness space, a yoga room, a fourth-floor outdoor terrace, and a dog park.
McShane SE Operations vice-president Brian Wood said: “Veranda at Assembly offers modern apartments for seniors in a convenient location off Interstate 285 and Peachtree Boulevard.
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with The Integral Group again and are confident that this building will serve the Doraville community well.”
The residential units, available in one- and two-bedroom floor plans, offer modern features such as granite countertops, kitchen islands, and kitchen appliance packages.
Additionally, the apartments have 9ft ceilings and luxury vinyl tile flooring.
The Integral Group engaged SK Collaborative as a consultant to review plans and associated materials for obtaining Energy Star and EarthCraft certifications.
The Integral Group Real Estate president Vicki Lundy Wilbon said: “The completion of Veranda at Assembly is a significant milestone for The Integral Group and the City of Doraville.
“We delivered a beautiful, amenity-rich community of 100 upscale residential units. Each unit features contemporary design elements and premium finishes, reflecting our commitment to quality.”
Last month, McShane completed Manor Scottsdale, a 286-unit apartment complex in Scottsdale, Arizona, US.
