Trafford Council has approved plans for a third residential development in the Trafford Waters district in Manchester, England, UK.
The plans, submitted by X1 Developments and Peel Waters, will see the addition of 208 new homes featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.
These form a part of the initial phase of homes being delivered within Peel Waters' broader Trafford Waters development.
The latest plan will consist of one eight-storey and another 13-storey building, with the larger building featuring a waved design.
These buildings will be situated adjacent to Trafford Way.
The development will comprise a south-facing, first-floor residents' deck, which will provide a communal area for socialising and link the two buildings.
The large ground-floor homes at the site will include private front gardens.
The ground floor will also host various amenities and retail units, with the design of these retail spaces featuring the same waved facade.
Peel Waters managing director James Whittaker said: “We have always set out that Trafford Waters will be a community which offers something for everyone.
“We’re proud to already be on site with our partners delivering two sites which will offer affordable homes and elderly living homes with specialist dementia care; this additional development will continue to diversify and complement our offering.”
Peel Waters is also developing public green spaces as part of the broader master plan for Trafford Waters.
The plan includes the creation of a new linear park, tree-lined boulevards, and play streets.
