American real estate company Thompson Thrift is set to begin construction of a new 300-unit multifamily community in the Orlando suburb of Lady Lake, Florida, US, later this month.
The 15.26-acre community, named Standard441, will feature one, two, and three-bedroom apartments across three-storey buildings.
The units will feature hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, patio and balcony choices, and separate garages. Each house will also include Alexa-enabled smart products.
Among the other amenities to be provided at the site include a fully equipped fitness centre with 24-hour access, a resort-style heated swimming pool and outdoor spa, an outdoor pool pavilion with a built-in fireplace and grills, a pickleball court, a pet park and spa, a 24-hour social hub, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.
The project, which is set to welcome residents in late 2024, represents Thompson's 12th multifamily community in Florida and takes its total count of multifamily units to 20,000.
Thompson Residential managing partner Josh Purvis said: “Lady Lake is a fast-growing area that shows no signs of slowing down.
“The area is expected to nearly double in size by 2040, providing Thompson Thrift the perfect opportunity to develop a high-end multifamily community that will offer residents the ability to live close to work and enjoy the benefits of nearby retail, entertainment and recreation.”
The project is located off the Highway 441 motorway on the northeastern side of The Villages master-planned community. It is also located across the street from UF Health The Villages Hospital, which is a regional healthcare services provider.
