TanRo has been appointed as the lead construction contractor for the first phase of the Fairham Business Park (FBP) development in Nottingham, England, UK.
The company is currently setting up its compound in preparation for the commencement of work at the site.
TanRo director Fintan Phelan said: “We are delighted to be awarded construction lead for the state-of-the-art commercial units at Fairham Business Park.
“We have recently completed the construction of two ‘built-to-suit’ facilities at Clowes [Development's] own Etiquette Park in Ilkeston, on time and according to a very tight schedule.”
This commercial project is a part of the broader £800m ($1.01bn) Fairham development master plan.
The Fairham development is a collaborative venture between Clowes Developments and Homes England.
Clowes Developments development director James Richards said: “Fairham will create a thriving new community and neighbourhood that is well-planned, safe, and friendly, a place that has a vibrant mix of residential and commercial amenities, all designed and built to the highest standards.”
As part of the essential enabling works at Fairham, there will be an increase in slow-moving vehicles on site.
These vehicles will be responsible for transporting excess topsoil from FBP to a vacant plot across the A453 road.
The soil relocation will be carried out in compliance with the planning conditions set out by the local authority, ensuring the proper disposal of excess soil.
JC Balls has received instructions to commence the works, with the project expected to be completed by the end of October this year.
In 2021, Clowes Developments announced plans to develop a business park, named Podium Business Parkin, in Northamptonshire.
