Sage, a software provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has announced the launch of a new cloud-based construction suite for speciality contractors.

This new suite is designed to address the challenges faced daily by speciality contractors.

It is intended to enable contractors to manage all aspects of their business, from preconstruction to finalisation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

It is expected to assist in saving time, reducing error-prone tasks, enhancing communication with field teams, and enabling informed decisions with real-time data.

The platform also includes construction management, field service operations, and construction financials.

Sage Construction and Real Estate senior vice-president Julie Adams said: “Speciality contractors have distinct needs and require software that can keep up with their demands across all phases of construction. At Sage, we’ve dedicated decades to understanding these nuances.

“With Sage for Specialty Contractors, Sage now offers the most comprehensive end-to-end native cloud suite covering field service, construction management, and financials, including Sage Intacct Construction, the only accounting solution endorsed by the AICPA [American Institute of Certified Public Accountants].”

Sage Construction Management focuses on collaboration and mobility, offering teams access to project information at any time and from anywhere.

Meanwhile, Sage Field Operations is for speciality contractors with service technicians, aiming to boost productivity and minimise risk.

Sage Intacct Construction, another part of the suite, grants teams complete visibility into project and business health.

The integrated solution has already been used by Airstron, a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning contractor based in Florida, US.

By automating tasks that were previously completed manually, Airstron said it has experienced enhanced productivity, level of service, and cash flow.
