Ryan Companies US has commenced construction of Chandler Freeways Business Park, a multibuilding industrial development in Chandler, Arizona, US.

The project involves converting a former office property into a single-storey Class A industrial facility.

Upon completion, the site will provide access to nearby freeways and the local workforce.

The development will also include several on-site features designed to support industrial operations.

Ryan Companies real-estate development director John Paul Mulhern said: “As the Phoenix market is faced with a surplus of challenged office buildings, our team is excited for the opportunity to transform this site into a state-of-the-art industrial complex that will attract top-tier businesses and talent to the area.

“This project is suited for a variety of end users, thanks to its prime infill location offering exceptional access to both the East and West Valley.”

Built in 2004, the office building will be repurposed into an 87,600ft² industrial space within the Greater Phoenix area.

Additionally, a new Class A industrial building spanning 102,875ft² will be constructed alongside this.

The project will feature concrete truck courts, reinforced speed bays, speculative office suites, warehouse lighting, and high-power capacity for industrial use.

It will also include 26 dock-high doors and 301 vehicle parking spaces.

The anticipated completion date for Chandler Freeways Business Park is set for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025. 

The business park's strategic location at the south-east of the Loop 202 and Interstate 10 interchange offers key access, with three full diamond interchanges less than two miles away.

Last month, Ryan Companies announced the start of construction for phase two of the 17 North Corporate Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
