Ridge, a UK-based company in the built environment sector, has announced the strategic acquisition of Jubb, a civil and structural engineering consultancy.

This move is set to add 100 employees to Ridge's workforce and expand the company’s service offerings as well as geographical reach in the industry.

The acquisition also brings together Jubb's expertise in civil and structural engineering, ground engineering along with transport and environmental planning with Ridge's range of services. These include MEP, architecture, project and cost management, sustainability and building surveying.

The synergy between the two companies is expected to deliver increased value to clients and improve career prospects for employees.

Jubb's strong presence in sectors such as data centres, defence, and infrastructure aligns with Ridge's growth strategy.

The addition of the company’s locations in the South West and Wales will expand Ridge's regional coverage, providing access to new markets and fostering opportunities for collaboration.
