American residential home developer PulteGroup is set to build a new master-planned development, The Landings, in northern St Johns County, Florida, US.

For this development, the company’s Northeast Florida division acquired 963 acres of land in St Johns County last month. The Landings will include its signature brands Del Webb and Pulte Homes.

The master-planned community is set to debut in 2025, with floor plans inspired by these two aforementioned brands of PulteGroup.

Community developer Del Web will build Del Webb St Johns, which will feature approximately 761 home units offering single-family floor plans with open-concept living spaces.

This property will have amenities such as a group activity and meeting centre, a resort-style pool, and pickleball courts.

Meanwhile, Pulte Homes will build The Landings, which will comprise up to 588 units and be built for families of all ages.

The property will consist of one- and two-storey floor layouts, and residents will have access to a range of amenities.

The development will be located south of Greenbriar Road and west of Longleaf Pine Parkway.

PulteGroup North-East Florida president Justin Cook said: “We are pleased to build upon our presence in St Johns County and excited to meet the growing demand for housing.

“St Johns County is an extremely popular and thriving area, and it ranks among the most sought-after areas for homebuyers.”

The Landings is zoned for A-rated schools in the St Johns County Public School District and is conveniently located near retail and entertainment amenities.

South-East Asia Construction Market Dynamics

Per GlobalData analysis, the South-East Asia construction industry in 2023 is dominated by Indonesia, though the country will see a slowdown compared to 2022 due to elevated building material prices, weak commercial property demand, high interest rates and a softening of external demand. The construction industry in the Philippines is estimated to register a AAGR of 7.2% between 2024 and 2027, supported by the government’s focus on the development of the country’s rail and road transport and energy infrastructure.
