PSP Projects wins two construction contracts in Gujarat

The two contracts encompass projects in the cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

PSP Projects has secured two construction work orders in the Indian state of Gujarat, totalling approximately Rs3.86bn ($46.55m).  

The first of the two contracts is valued at around Rs2.68bn.  

It involves the construction and maintenance of the Human and Biological Gallery at Science City, Ahmedabad, for Gujarat Council of Science City.  

This government-oriented project is expected to be completed within 18 months. 

The second order, in the institutional category, includes the construction of the commercial building ORYX at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. 

This project, with a contract value of roughly Rs1.18bn, is anticipated to be completed within 24 months.  

Additionally, PSP Projects has been named the lowest bidder for the construction of a fintech building at GIFT City for Gujarat International Finance Tec-City. 

The contract is valued at approximately Rs3.33bn and includes a completion tenure of 30 months. 

With these new orders, PSP Projects' total order inflow for financial year 2023-24 is reported to reach about Rs30.12bn. 

Last month, the company received a contract worth Rs6.30bn for the construction of Gati Shakti Vishwavidhyalaya at Vadodara for Rail Vikas Nigam. 

The project, which is in the government category, is set to be completed within 30 months.
