The UK's Procure Partnerships Framework has selected 95 consultants to participate in its second-generation national professional services framework, with a notable 80% of these companies classified as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

A procurement specialist headquartered in Liverpool, Meyerside, Procure Partnerships Framework has operated across England for the past five years, contributing to more than 600 public sector projects.

The newly awarded consultants are set to provide services across four main disciplines: project management, quantity surveying, architectural design, and building surveying, divided into nine subregional lots.

This approach is aimed at enhancing the delivery of public sector services, with a significant emphasis on involving local and regional businesses.

Among the 95 awarded consultants, 76 are SMEs, which underscores the framework's commitment to fostering opportunities for smaller companies.

Some returning SMEs include Pulse Consult, EDGE, and Hive Projects. New entrants such as Bentley Project Management, Exi, and Norr Consultants are also joining the framework.

Established companies, including Drees and Sommer, Turner & Townsend, Gleeds, Gardiner & Theobald, and Rider Levett Bucknall have also secured their positions across the framework's nine subregional lots.

They are joined by 35 new companies, including AtkinsRéalis, Pick Everard, and CPMG.

The framework's procurement flexibility is highlighted by the availability of Two Stage, Single Stage, or Direct Award routes. This variety of options is designed to meet the diverse needs of public sector clients in managing and awarding contracts.

Procure Partnerships Framework framework director Faye Dolan said: “The framework’s flexibility in forming multidisciplinary teams will improve project outcomes, create jobs and foster regional innovation while delivering real value to our public sector clients.

"We look forward to collaborating with both new and returning partners to deliver successful, impactful projects that drive economic growth at both a local and national scale.”
