Construction critical path method (CPM) scheduling solutions provider Planera has announced a new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Autodesk Construction Cloud is a platform that offers advanced technology, a network of builders, and predictive insights for construction teams.
Meanwhile, Planera streamlines project management and offers resource and scenario analysis, DCMA-14 quality checks, and risk analysis capabilities.
The latest integration merges Planera's CPM-based scheduling software with Autodesk Construction Cloud, delivering a solution that enhances profitability and efficiency for users.
This allows project teams to construct, analyse, and optimise their construction schedules using Planera directly within Autodesk Build Insights or BIM 360 Project Home dashboards.
Planera CEO and co-founder Nitin Bhandari said: “As Planera continues to grow and provide a user-friendly construction planning and scheduling solution, our integration with Autodesk is the next step in serving an even larger group of contractors, engineers, and architects.
“By integrating with Autodesk Construction Cloud, we eliminate the hassle of switching back and forth between programmes to manage construction schedules alongside other project management priorities. Now, these priorities can be approached simultaneously.”
The new integration also offers users seamless access to resources for establishing an accurate scope of work and also to develop baselines, maintain progress schedules, and execute collaborative pull-planning.
Autodesk integrations and technology partnerships director James Cook said: “Embedding Planera into Autodesk Construction Cloud, helps teams develop and view their comprehensive project schedules alongside the critical project data managed daily in Autodesk Construction Cloud.”
