Pick Everard has been appointed to Historic England's architectural and surveying services framework, marking a strategic partnership.
This marks a significant first for the consultancy, initiating a collaborative relationship as part of Historic England's Future Office Estate Strategy.
The three-year framework will see Pick Everard providing compliant, secure, and productive workplaces that focus on the well-being of Historic England’s staff across the UK.
The consultancy will operate across two lots, encompassing the North of England and the Midlands, as well as the South West, South East, and London regions.
The scope of work includes delivering specialist surveys on conditions, structures, fire zoning, and utilities. This ensures the preservation and sustainable adaptation of historically significant assets for long-term use.
The award of the framework further cements Pick Everard's position in aligning historic preservation with sustainable, modern office standards for Historic England's estate.
Pick Everard, a multidisciplinary consultancy in the built heritage and workplace sectors, works across both the public and private sectors.
Pick Everard strategic account director for culture and heritage Matthew Appleton said: “This is a significant appointment for us, and we’re pleased to support Historic England across both lots to preserve and enhance its estate. Our team is dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions that respect the unique character of these heritage buildings while ensuring they meet modern standards.
“We’re able to draw on our expertise in both workplace design and management and heritage conservation, combining industry best practices across multiple disciplines. The partnership allows us to provide solutions that bring heritage benefit and gain, futureproofing Historic England’s estate and creating comfortable, adaptable workplaces for its staff.”
