Parsons Corporation has secured a position on the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Fort Worth District indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity multiple award task order contract.

The construction management services contract is worth $200m.

It includes a three-year base period with the option to extend for two additional two-year periods.

The contract will see Parsons competing for task orders.

Parsons will provide personnel, supervision and administrative and logistics support for USACE Southwestern Division Construction Phase Services, on large military construction programmes.

Previously, the company played a role as the architecture-engineering integrator for the District's significant San Antonio Base Realignment and Closure contract.

This prior $3.2bn contract involved infrastructure planning, design, and construction management services.

Parson has offered federal government agencies expertise in planning, design, construction, and post-construction phases across complex, multi-site, and multi-phase programmes for 80 years.

Parsons Engineered Systems president Jon Moretta said: “Parsons is a trusted and recognised programme and construction management leader with decades of experience delivering transformational infrastructure solutions to the federal government.

“We look forward to continuing our support of USACE as they oversee military design and construction projects that strengthen our nation’s security, energise the economy, and reduce risks from disasters.”

In February this year, Parsons secured a three-year project management consultancy contract from real estate development company Soudah Development for new work.

The company won the contract for the upcoming year-round luxury mountain tourism destination, Soudah Peaks, which is set 3,015 metres above sea level on Saudi Arabia’s highest peak.
