Onx Homes has broken ground on its new community of 200 single-family homes, On Villa Pass, situated in Mascotte, Florida, US.
This marks the company's first venture into central Florida and its fifth development within the state.
The homes will be constructed using Onx’s X⁺ Construction technology, which enables the delivery of homes in 30 days or less.
The On Villa Pass community is set to showcase three model homes during the Orlando Parade of Homes, taking place from 6 May to 14 May this year.
Onx Homes COO Ravi Bhat said: “As we deliver sustainable and resilient homes throughout Florida, On Villa Pass will continue to raise the standard in construction while also satisfying an immediate need for high-quality housing.
“Each residence is designed with leading technology that celebrates a forward-thinking approach to home building, a process that we take pride in for every community.”
The development will offer three and four-bedroom homes, with two to three full baths, energy-efficient appliances, impact windows, electric vehicle charging stations, and more.
Each residence will have quartz kitchen countertops, home automation systems, and marble-finish tile flooring, among other features.
The homes will have monolithic engineered concrete foundations to shield against natural disasters.
The construction integrates 3D pods that encompass mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems along with fixtures and smart design elements.
These homes are engineered to resist wind loads of up to 175mph, and the envelope insulation is designed to absorb sound.
This creates a quieter living environment, as well as contributes to reduced energy bills.
Furthermore, the homes will feature concrete reinforced staircases with prestressed beams, enhancing the separation of sound and space between floors.
The fire-resistant concrete construction is expected to provide a lifespan exceeding 100 years.
In April this year, Onx Homes announced the launch of its X+ Construction Systems Factory in Pompano Beach.
