Technology, conformity assessment, and consulting solutions provider NV5 Global has received a $18m contract from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in the US.
The three-year contract will see NV5 deliver construction management services for various transportation projects within the Caltrans' District 9.
These services include on-call construction inspection, claims resolution, office engineering, and constructability support services.
NV5 executive chair Dickerson Wright said: “Caltrans is an excellent example of how NV5’s national department of transportation growth initiative positions us to drive organic growth in the infrastructure sector and deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions to improve the communities we serve.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Caltrans to enhance the mobility and quality of life for the travelling public in District 9.”
NV5 Infrastructure West COO Todd George added: “NV5 has provided services to Caltrans for many years.
“We are proud of our longstanding relationship and appreciate the opportunity to continue supporting projects throughout District 9.”
This award comes after the company secured a three-year, $5m contract from the City of San Diego.
The contract entails providing land surveying, mapping, and digitising services to support municipal infrastructure projects.
Meanwhile, the New York City Department of Design and Construction awarded NV5 Global a contract to design pedestrian safety improvements along Lexington Avenue last October.
The estimated value of the contract was $7m.
Currently, the company's primary focus lies within six business verticals.
These comprise utility services, infrastructure engineering, environmental health sciences, construction quality assurance, buildings and technology, and geospatial services.
