NCC to construct Bosch’s new headquarters in Denmark

The companies have been working together since the project's initial planning phase.

Nordic construction company NCC has revealed its plans to construct a new headquarters for German engineering and technology company Bosch in Ballerup, Denmark.

The office building occupies an area of approximately 10,000m² spread across three floors.

It will house all the company’s employees, who are currently residing in two locations.

Bosch and NCC have reportedly been working together closely since the initial project planning phase.

To be constructed on the location of one of the existing buildings, this new office building incorporates NCC’s office method.

Earthworks are expected to begin immediately, and construction will commence next year.

NCC Building Nordics head Catarina Molén-Runnäs said: “We have worked closely with Bosch when deciding on the details of its new office building, which will be a combination of efficient standardisations and solutions that are specifically tailored for Bosch.

“As we were involved in the process at an early stage, we have been able to realise Bosch’s wishes within the scope of its budget and timetable.”

The office block is projected to be ready for occupancy in 2026.

This order will be entered into the Building Nordics business segment of NCC during the fourth quarter of this year.

The value of this contract has not been disclosed.

Earlier this month, NCC was contracted to build Energinet’s new head office outside Fredericia on Denmark’s Jutland peninsula.

Last year, Bosch announced plans to develop a $215m facility in Queretaro, Mexico. This factory will produce components for mobile applications in machines.
