Morgan Sindall Construction has secured a place on the third edition of the North Wales Construction Partnership Framework (NWCP3).

The entire £600m ($762.01m) framework is a joint effort by six local authorities in North Wales.

The previous NWCP2 facilitated projects worth more than £200m, with 76% of these projects' supply chain spend remaining within Wales.

NWCP3 will comprise projects such as new school buildings and other public sector developments, alongside social housing developed by all six authorities.

The framework prioritises socially responsible procurement, with an emphasis on delivering social, economic, environmental, and cultural benefits.

It aims to foster collaborative working among clients, contractors, design teams, and the supply chain, with community benefits at the forefront.

It also intends to support sustainable local supply chains, apprenticeships, and training, aiming to enhance the well-being of communities across North Wales.

Sindall North West area director Steven Gregory said: “NWCP3 is a framework that perfectly aligns with Morgan Sindall’s commitment to building stronger communities through the projects we deliver.

“We’re therefore really excited with this appointment and look forward to working with local authorities across North Wales to deliver high-quality, sustainable facilities that will generate social value for the region.”

Earlier this month, Sindall's North West team completed the refurbishment of the ground floor of the existing Greenbank Building at the University of Central Lancashire in England, UK.
