Construction is progressing on US-based housing developer Mill Creek Residential’s new garden-style apartment community project in McKinney, Texas, US.

Dubbed Modera McKinney Ridge, the community will feature 381 homes within the McKinney Independent School District.

The development is part of the overarching Ridgeline development, a larger 400-acre master-planned development.

Modera McKinney Ridge will have one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans with an average of 1,025ft² in size. The community will be developed to achieve NGBS Silver certification.

A ground-breaking ceremony for the project was held in March, and the first residents are expected to move in late 2024.

Mill Creek Residential North Texas development senior managing director Michael Blackwell said: “Modera McKinney Ridge will be a truly unique place to live in the metroplex.

“The community showcases a park-like natural setting that offers great trails and open spaces while also providing remarkable connectivity to schools, employment, entertainment, and great shopping and dining in historic downtown McKinney just ten minutes away.”

The community will feature two swimming pools, a multilevel courtyard, a beer garden including an outdoor fire pit, a screened porch with a harvest dining table, and more.

Other amenities include several outdoor meeting and grilling areas, two pet parks, controlled-access garage parking, and digital package lockers.

Interiors will boast 10ft ceilings, stainless steel appliances, quartz worktops, designer tile backsplashes, and other features.

South-East Asia Construction Market Dynamics

Several companies are accelerating toward the net-zero emissions target to decarbonize the energy sector. The power industry is investing heavily in AI and ML to deliver the necessary solutions, such as sensor-connected power plants and smart grids to balance electricity supply and demand. AI is driving measurable improvements in renewable energy forecasting, grid operations and optimization, the coordination of distributed energy assets, and demand-side management. It will play a major role in enhancing asset optimization and customer segmentation.
