Merko Ehitus Eesti, a subsidiary of the Merko Ehitus group, has entered into a contract with the Tallinn Property Department for the construction of the Tallinn Hobby Centre Kullo in Estonia.
The hobby centre will be located at Mustamäe tee 59, Tallinn.
The project involves demolishing the existing Kullo structure and construction of a new four-storey building with a net area of approximately 12,000m².
The contract also encompasses partial design and furnishing.
The new community centre will accommodate Kullo, claimed to be Estonia's largest and oldest hobby school, as well as the Kristiine youth centre and library.
The development will also feature outdoor areas for public use.
The contract is valued at approximately €24.9m ($25.9m) plus VAT.
Construction works are scheduled for completion in December 2026.
