UAE-based real estate developer MAG Group has granted a contract to construction contractor Plus Seven for the development of a luxury townhouse community located at Mohammed Bin Rashid City in Meydan, Ras Al Khor, UAE, reported Trade Arabia.

This residential community project is named MAG 22 and is worth around AED110m ($30m).

The construction contract is valued at AED39m ($10.62m).

Plus Seven is tasked to conclude the work on this project by Q4 next year.

MAG 22 will comprise 22 townhouses with a mix of two- and three-bedroom floorplans.

The open-plan layout of the residential units provide the space scale and comfort, which includes covered rooftop terraces and the outdoor living areas.

An internal courtyard with an olive tree provides several natural light sources for the master bedroom.

According to the developer, MAG 22 will provide a suburban life that is tranquil while being located around the corner of the city.

The property is situated near Dubai Creek, Downtown Dubai, the Dubai Design District, and MAG's properties, including Keturah Reserve and Keturah Resort.

According to the developer, 80% of units at the project have already been sold out.

Set up in 1978, MAG Group Holding today employs more than 2000 personnel worldwide in over 50 companies and branches.

MAG Group Holding’s portfolio includes real estate, contracting & engineering, industrial & commercial trading, freight services, and hospitality.

The metaverse is still in its early stages - first movers have the chance to become market leaders in the construction industry

The construction industry has large and complex sites to manage, strict project deadlines, hazardous working conditions, and tight profit margins. It is also under increasing pressure to improve its ESG credentials and digitalize. The three primary use cases for the metaverse in the construction industry are training, building information modeling (BIM) renders, and collaborative creation, though its adoption is still in its infancy.
