Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured orders for the construction of luxury residential towers in the Indian cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai.

The contracts, awarded by a 'reputed' client, are within the range of Rs10bn ($114.9m) to Rs25bn.

The company's Building & Factories (B&F) vertical is responsible for these new projects.

In Mumbai, the project entails constructing two ultra-luxury high-rise towers with heights of up to 273m, featuring configurations of 3B+G+7P+51/57 floors.

The Bangalore project includes 14 luxury towers to be built on a design-and-build basis, with configurations of 3B+G+27/28 floors.

The Chennai project comprises 25 luxury towers, also on a design-and-build basis, with a configuration of 2B+G+14 floors.

The company stated that these projects are to be completed within stringent timelines.

Furthermore, L&T obtained multiple add-on orders for ongoing projects.

L&T, a $27bn company, operates in EPC projects, hi-tech manufacturing, and services across multiple geographies.

Earlier this month, L&T's Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) vertical received new contracts in India and the Middle East.

PT&D will implement 765kV and 400kV transmission lines in Uttar Pradesh and southern India for renewable energy evacuation. In the Middle East, it has secured contracts for a 380kV substation in Saudi Arabia and a 220kV/33kV grid station in Abu Dhabi.

In September 2024, L&T added the Renewable EPC business to its construction verticals.

L&T senior vice-president A Ravindran will head this unit within the Infrastructure Projects segment.
