American housing developer JPI has begun construction on a 482-unit project, called 'The Exchange at Riverside', California, US.

This three-storey multifamily project will provide residents with one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans alongside work and living quarters.

The units will be equipped with energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances and private tiered balconies, 9ft ceilings, and a full-sized washer and dryer. 

Among the amenities to be provided at the project include two resort-style pools with cabanas and outdoor firepits, a fitness centre, an outdoor kitchen, co-working spaces, a pet park, an electric vehicle charging station, and a bicycle storage and repair room. 

JPI CEO Payton Mayes said: “We are very blessed to be welcomed by the Riverside community and are excited about this project.

The Exchange at Riverside will provide access to the downtown Fox Performing Arts Center, Convention Center, UCR Arts, Riverside Plaza, and Mission Inn Hotel & Spa.  

It is located close to the University of California, Riverside, which holds more than 26,000 students.   

Additionally, Metrolink Station is located two miles south-west of the project while the historical 209-acre Fairmount Park is within a mile's distance.
