Eiffage Construction has revealed that it is undertaking the renovation of Grand Hôtel des Voyageurs in Paris' tenth arrondissement, France.
This project includes the rehabilitation of the four-star hotel and the merger of two adjacent hotel buildings forming a luxury hotel complex.
The two buildings are the Marcel and Voyageur hotels.
Eiffage Construction is serving as the general contractor while Cible Financière is the contracting authority.
This project will see the involvement of a dedicated team of more than 40 professionals.
They will undertake tasks such as the demolition and realignment of floors, reinforcement of the existing metal structure, and the construction of a new wooden framework within the inner courtyard.
The renovation will adhere to ‘element-by-element’ thermal regulations.
Upon completion, the renovated Grand Hôtel des Voyageurs will have 56 rooms and suites.
During the mid-year period, the construction site's location within the area affected by the upcoming Olympic Games Paris will need to free up rights of way.
The renovation work commenced after a two-month preparation phase and is expected to take 20 months, with completion anticipated by 14 November 2025.
During the construction period, the Marcel hotel will continue to operate, with its restaurants remaining open on the ground floor and basement.
Earlier this month, Eiffage Construction revealed that its construction and services team was undertaking the transformation of the Oceania building located in Northern France.
