GRAHAM's Interior Fit-Out division has won a contract to refurbish The Berkshire Golf Club in Ascot, UK.
The project is scheduled to begin in November and is expected to be completed by early 2025.
The comprehensive refurbishment will modernise the clubhouse's principal front-of-house spaces, update the back-of-house facilities and infrastructure, and improve staff accommodation.
These upgrades are part of the club's strategy to maintain its service standards.
The Berkshire Golf Club managing director Michael Newland said: “We’re thrilled to partner with leading contractor, GRAHAM, on the transformation of the facilities within The Berkshire Golf Club.
“We trust that the team will deliver to the highest standard possible, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our members, guests and visitors into our newly refurbished clubhouse.”
The project team includes Fitzsimons for project management and quantity surveying, Unwin Jones Partnership as architect, Helen Hooper for interior design alongside GRAHAM, Thornley & Lumb managing monitoring and evaluation, and Axiom overseeing drainage and structural consultancy.
GRAHAM Interior Fit-Out contracts director Neil Dickson said: “Securing the refurbishment project for The Berkshire, one of the UK’s premier golf clubs, is a great result for GRAHAM. Our objective is to modernise the club’s facilities, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of its members and guests.
“By upgrading both the clubhouse and the infrastructure, we are making sure that every aspect of the club is fit for purpose, combining comfort and functionality with the highest standards of quality. We look forward to collaborating closely with all stakeholders to bring this vision to life.”
Earlier this week, GRAHAM was selected by the City of Lincoln Council to undertake infrastructure works for the Western Growth Corridor development.
This development is poised to deliver up to 3,200 new homes as a sustainable urban extension.
