Construction has commenced on the final phase of detached homes at Spring Valley Village in Brampton, Canada, Ballantry Homes' 330-unit master-planned community.
The ground-breaking ceremony, which took place near Queen St and Chinguacousy Blvd, was attended by Brampton's mayor Patrick Brown, city officials, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
Brown said: “I want to thank Ballantry Homes for building great homes in Brampton for the past 25 years.
“This is a beautiful location to live. Serving a growing population of over 700,000 residents with more than 250 cultures speaking 115 different languages, our priority is building a modern, inclusive city that reflects the needs of our community.”
With more than 300 homes already constructed, Spring Valley Village is claimed to feature high-quality design and attention to detail.
The latest phase features all detached homes with fully finished basements.
The homes include brick and stone detailing, covered porticos, double-door entries, two-car garages, and oversized windows.
The interiors boast island kitchens with walk-in pantries, options for wet bars, two walk-in cloakrooms, and the possibility of up to six bedrooms.
Located in the Credit River Valley, Spring Valley Village is adjacent to preserved woodlands and near schools, playgrounds, and picnic areas, among others.
Ballantry president David Hill said: “This is the grand finale of a very successful neighbourhood in one of the most beautiful settings we have ever been a part of.
“At Ballantry, we are very proud of this accomplishment. Today’s ground-breaking represents more than just the presentation of the final phase of this master-planned community - it signifies our ongoing commitment to creating vibrant and sustainable neighbourhoods in Brampton.”
