Eiffage Construction has received a contract to carry out comprehensive renovation works of the Cristallis project in Paris' ninth district, France.  

The contract is worth more than €92m ($99.30m). 

The project comprises the refurbishment of three building structures, covering more than 25,000m² of floor area.  

Renovation work also includes extending and elevating one of the buildings, replacing facades, and executing technical building systems.  

In addition, it involves foundational work with more than 300 micropiles and restructuring the site's forecourt.  

The complex, designed by DTACC and BSTLL, will feature offices, coworking and well-being spaces, a corporate restaurant, an auditorium, and approximately 300 underground parking spaces. 

The Cristallis project aims for nine certifications and labels. 

These include a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Excellent and Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE) certification.

The buildings are designed to meet the Eco-Energy Tertiary system's 2050 energy-efficiency objectives.  

The renovation will incorporate secondary construction materials and natural resources such as on-site topsoil and photovoltaic panels on the roof. 

Construction work is currently underway, with an anticipated completion by the end of 2025. 

The award comes after the company, in collaboration with eight architectural businesses, received a design-and-build contract for a section of the Grand Paris Express line 15 last December.
