Stanley Black & Decker brand DEWALT has expanded its TOUGHSERIES lineup with the introduction of the new TOUGHSERIES Construction Jack.

This hands-free tool is engineered to facilitate a variety of tasks, including lifting, levelling, and installation, with a lift capacity of up to 340lb and a maximum lift height of 8-3/4in.

These results are said to be based on initial laboratory testing.

The Construction Jack is designed to enhance efficiency and safety on the work site.

It features a step-to-lift function, which is activated by a reinforced handle, allowing for hands-free operation.

Alternatively, the handle can be manually squeezed when preferred.

TOUGHSERIES' Construction Jack has a precision-controlled lowering tab that aids in fine-tuning adjustments during levelling tasks.

The tool’s ergonomically designed handle with a moulded grip is aimed to maximise user comfort during operation.

Meanwhile, reinforced metal ribs help to fortify the handle, ensuring it can withstand heavy loads.

The tool has a no-load quick-release button, enabling instant setting of the tool under the area of application.

Additionally, it features a slim, tapered base that allows for better access under applications while countersunk holes offer the option for extra flush mount support.

DEWALT Hand Tools and Accessories & Storage vice-president Dave Veprek said: “Heavy lifting typically requires the time and energy of more than one worker, which can interrupt workflow.

“The TOUGHSERIES Construction Jack is designed to give one worker the lifting assistance they need with a step-to-lift handle, fine-tune adjustments, and a no-load quick-release button for optimal productivity and safety.”
