Datumate has added new features to its automatic, cloud-native software-as-a-service construction data analytics and management platform, DatuBIM.

The added features, Annotations and Cross-Section Progress Report (CSPR), are set to enhance construction project management.

The company specialises in construction data analytics and drone-based photogrammetry.

These features are designed to facilitate monitoring, analysis, and collaboration.

Datumate CEO Dror Friedman said: “We are proud to introduce these powerful new features to our DatuBIM platform. The ability to annotate and collaborate in real-time on 3D models and site data is a game-changer for the construction industry.

“These enhancements reflect our commitment to providing innovative solutions that drive efficiency, transparency, and productivity in construction project management.”

DatuBIM Annotations is designed to streamline issue reporting and tracking, addressing the challenges of managing civil engineering projects.

The feature aims to simplify reporting processes and enhance stakeholder collaboration by providing clarity and precision.

Meanwhile, the new CSPR feature automates the creation of multiple cross-sections within the platform, a task that was previously manual and time-consuming.

It is designed to foster a collaborative environment for real-time issue resolution, which can enhance efficiency and reduce project delays.

Both DatuBIM Annotations and CSPR offer insights and documentation that support the planning, tracking, and execution of construction projects.

The features enable remote collaboration and reduce the need for physical site visits, which can lead to increased productivity and cost savings.

In January this year, the company won an Israeli Ministry of Construction and Housing-commissioned multiyear contract for digital quality and progress monitoring in residential infrastructure projects.

Under this framework service agreement, Datumate will deliver services using DatuBIM.
