Construction Partners, a civil infrastructure company specialising in roadways, has announced the acquisition of SJ&L General Contractor and Littlefield Construction Company.
Headquartered in Alabama, US, SJ&L General Contractor is a hot-mix asphalt and sitework company.
Meanwhile, Littlefield Construction is a soil base, surface treatment and sitework company headquartered in Waycross, Georgia, US.
The acquisition of these two companies is expected to help Construction Partners in enhancing its service capabilities within its existing markets in the south-eastern US.
Construction Partners, which is headquartered in Alabama, currently operates across six south-eastern US states, supported by its hot-mix asphalt plants, liquid asphalt terminals, and aggregate facilities.
It specialises in a variety of public and private sector projects, including motorways, runways, and commercial developments.
Construction Partners president and CEO Fred Jule Smith III said: “Both the SJ&L and Littlefield acquisitions expand our services offerings in existing markets while also adding valuable crews and equipment.”
