The tool offers an estimate of the total square footage and the materials needed by allowing users to input roof dimensions, including length, width, and pitch. 

It removes the possibility of being defrauded to pay for more than then what is needed and saves hours of labour and gas by cutting down on trips to supply stores. 

The company noted that both overestimation and underestimation can lead to increased costs, resource wastage, and project delays.
