Buildots integrates with Autodesk BIM 360

Project teams will be able to understand deviations identified with visual information in Buildots.

AI-based automated progress tracking technology company Buildots has announced a new integration with Autodesk BIM 360, a part of Autodesk Construction Cloud and a project management solution.

This integration enables project teams to log deviations identified with visual information in Buildots, such as inaccurate installations, by generating issues automatically in BIM 360. This approach enables construction managers to minimise delays and avoid cost overruns.

Leveraging AI and computer vision, Buildots provides comprehensive imaging of ongoing projects. It employs AI models to translate this data into actionable insights.

Its technology is claimed to enhance efficiencies within the construction industry by enabling more performance-driven management practices.

The technology monitors construction progress against plans and schedules, generating gap analysis and predictive analytics.

These analytics can alert project managers to the need for corrective action, facilitating continuous performance improvement and reducing construction delays.

Buildots co-founder and CPO Aviv Leibovici said: “The integration between Buildots and BIM 360 is a win for the construction industry.

“It promises to bring new levels of efficiency and precision to construction. Together, we aim to enhance how building projects are planned and executed, making it easier for professionals to contribute to better construction outcomes.”

In August 2024, Buildots unveiled its new Integrated Tracking feature, which unifies the tracking of automated and manually recorded tasks within a single platform.

This feature streamlines project management by combining AI-driven progress tracking with the capability for professionals to log and verify tasks that require human oversight.

In April 2024, Autodesk and the Nemetschek Group entered into an interoperability agreement to optimise workflows for their customers.

This is expected to enhance collaboration and efficiency within the architecture, engineering, construction, operations, and media and entertainment industries.
