Affordable mixed-tenure homes provider Vistry Group has unveiled the first show homes at its Brookmill Meadows development in Warton, Warwickshire, UK.
This marks a milestone in the joint venture (JV) with Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG) and Warwickshire County Council.
The opening of the two show homes at Brookmill Meadows provides a glimpse into the 71 houses at the development.
The Brookmill Meadows development will include two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses and bungalows.
Over the next three decades, the Develop Warwickshire JV plans to construct more than 1,800 new homes across the county to meet its demand for housing.
Brookmill Meadows is one of the three sites currently in development.
Platform project manager Becky Hewett said: “This will be a key project in helping us deliver affordable housing in areas we know there is a strong need for it.
“We look forward to being able to offer people a place they can call home in this wonderful part of the Midlands.”
The homes at the latest development are being built using modern construction methods such as air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle (EV) charging points.
The energy-efficient design also includes sustainable urban drainage systems and landscaped green spaces.
With a commitment to affordability, 40% of the homes at Brookmill Meadows are designated as affordable housing, available through shared ownership and affordable rent options.
Last week, Vistry, through its Countryside Partnerships brand, secured a contract with LiveWest to deliver several mixed-tenure homes in the Sherford community near Plymouth.
