Bluewater Aviation has selected the general contractor and civil engineer for the initial phase of its hangar development at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport (KBKV) in Florida, US.
Brandon Construction Company will serve as the general contractor while Mohsen Design Group will be the civil engineer for this project.
Bluewater president and CEO Anthony Santarsiero said: “Today marks a big milestone for Bluewater Aviation. Having such experienced and well-respected teams joining our project reinforces how unique and needed what we're bringing to the Tampa Bay Area is.”
The development's first phase will see the creation of an exclusive hangar community on Bluewater's 12-acre leased land at KBKV.
This community will consist of 12 individual private hangars, each offering customisable amenities to suit the owner's needs.
These amenities include hydraulic hangar doors, full private bathrooms, and pilot-friendly designs for easy aircraft ingress and egress.
The hangars will be secured behind a perimeter along with a security system.
Construction of the first phase is scheduled to commence this year, with completion expected in December.
Bluewater Aviation’s plans for the campus include the addition of large box hangars, a fuel farm, and a modern fixed-base operator (FBO) building with a full restaurant.
