The first phase of The Holloway, a build-to-rent (BTR) development located in Birmingham, UK, has reached completion.
Winvic Construction is spearheading the construction of the Holloway Head BTR scheme for Apo in collaboration with owner Invesco Real Estate.
This project is part of Invesco Real Estate’s UK residential scheme.
Meanwhile, the management of the building will be handled by Apo, marking the fifth operational asset in its portfolio, following developments in London and Liverpool.
Invesco Real Estate UK & Nordics Investments senior director Stacey Patten said: “As with all of our development projects, we’re proud to bring high-quality residential units and a thoughtfully designed amenity offering to the Birmingham market.
“We are delighted to have worked with Apo and Winvic to deliver the first set of units and look forward to the successful completion of the remaining units next year, bringing our total UK BTR portfolio to 4,198 units.”
The Holloway will offer 485 design-led rental homes, including a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom furnished apartments.
It will also have a 330m² gym, lounges, high-speed Wi-Fi, co-working spaces, communal roof terraces, and car parking spaces, all included in tenants' monthly rent.
The formal opening of the first phase is scheduled for next month and will unveil 231 apartments across two blocks.
Meanwhile, the second phase recently topped out ahead of schedule and is expected to introduce the remaining 254 apartments by early-to-mid-2025.
Located at 3 Blucher Street, The Holloway is situated a five-minute walk from Birmingham New Street station, providing easy access to the city centre.
Winvic Construction Multiroom managing director Mark Jones said: “The project’s recent CCS Gold Award and exceptional CCS scores throughout demonstrate our commitment to working considerately.
“We look forward to continuing to progress the remaining two blocks which are scheduled to be completed next year.”
Last month, Winvic Construction celebrated construction progress at the Bourn Quarter site in Cambridge, UK.
