UAE-based property developer Azizi Developments has partnered with Al Gurg Consultants for the detailed design of eight residential towers within its mixed-use development, Azizi Venice.
Al Gurg Consultants is an engineering and architectural consultancy based in Dubai since 1969.
Located in Dubai South, the development is worth Dh30m ($8.17m) and is expected to attract 30,000 visitors daily, reported Zawya. Azizi broke ground on this project in October 2023.
Azizi CEO Farhad Azizi said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the highly esteemed and homegrown Al Gurg Consultants for our Venice project. Their renowned expertise in engineering and architectural design perfectly aligns with our vision and pursuit of elevating Venice to unparalleled levels of sophistication and innovation.
“Together, we're poised to create iconic spaces that reflect our shared commitment to quality and excellence.”
Azizi Venice is set to feature more than 30,000 residential units spread across nearly 100 apartment complexes, in addition to more than 400 luxury villas and mansions.
As the master developer, Azizi will oversee the construction of the buildings, roads, and all necessary infrastructure.
The development will feature a pedestrian-friendly boulevard, called Azizi Boulevard.
This boulevard will be open-air in the winter and glass-covered during the mid-year months.
The boulevard will be flanked by three-storey buildings that will house a variety of retailers, brands, and entertainment venues, as well as dining establishments.
Azizi Venice will also include Azizi Opera.
The community will have two Azizi-owned and operated five-star hotels at its entrances and a boutique hotel situated on an island within the development's lagoon.
In addition, several underground parking spaces will also be constructed.
