Avant Homes North East, a division of Avant Homes Group, has secured a 15.37-acre site in Acklam, UK, for a new 139-home development worth £38m ($48.28m).
The project, named The Avenue and located off St David’s Way, will feature a range of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes designed with practicality and energy efficiency in mind.
The commencement of construction work is set to begin this month.
The development plan includes the opening of a show home by May 2025, and the first residents are anticipated to move in during the same year.
As part of its commitment to the local community, Avant Homes has pledged a planning contribution of £600,000 to benefit the surrounding area.
Avant Homes North East land director Martin Mowbray said: “This site creates an exciting opportunity for us to provide Acklam with our popular range of practically designed, energy-efficient homes.
“As a house builder, we want to build quality new homes for everyone. We believe The Avenue will allow us to once more demonstrate how we create new and thriving communities that benefit local areas and the people who live there.”
Currently, Avant Homes North East manages eight live developments across various locations in the region, including Bradley Point in High Spen and Brompton Mews in Catterick.
The development, according to the company, is in alignment with its environmental, social, and governance obligations.
Additionally, last month marked the acquisition of an 18.5-acre development site by the company near Barnsley, located off Thurnscoe Bridge Lane in England.
