Avant Homes West Yorkshire has agreed to a £4.3m ($5.47m) deal with Manningham Housing Association for a development at Odette’s Point in Keighley, England, UK.
The company is tasked with constructing 20 new homes at the site.
The partnership reportedly marks a milestone in Avant Homes’ implementation of its multitenure strategy and is its first collaboration with Manningham Housing Association in the county.
The strategy aims to boost local housing supply by offering new homes for private sale, private rental sector, and affordable housing.
Construction of the energy-efficient homes is underway, featuring a mix of three- and four-bedroom detached and semidetached properties.
Avant Homes has already delivered 11 homes to Manningham Housing Association, with the remaining nine homes expected to be completed by year-end.
Avant Homes group affordable housing delivery head Phil Lacey said: “Our vision of providing quality new homes for everyone is what underpins our multitenure strategy. Our deal with Manningham Housing Association at our Odette’s Point development in Keighley is a perfect example of us delivering on our vision. The continued success of the development highlights the demand for these types of homes within the popular Bradford district.
“Manningham Housing Association’s affordable homes at Odette’s Point will contribute to the growing and diverse community in the area, while providing homes for the people who need them most.”
This announcement comes after Avant Homes initiated construction on the first phase of its £137m housing development, Eden Fields, in Edenthorpe, Doncaster.
The project, situated off the A630 road on Mere Lane, will also be delivered by Avant Homes West Yorkshire.
