Avant Homes Central has secured planning approval for a £29m ($37.03m) multitenure development, Lawrence Point, in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, UK.
The project will deliver 104 new homes on Lynncroft, featuring a range of two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom properties.
The development will include 12 of Avant Homes’ energy-efficient house types, including terraced, semidetached, and detached.
Of the 104 homes, 10% are being designated as affordable housing.
Construction is set to begin next month, with the first residents expected to move in by August 2025.
Avant Homes will also contribute £506,000 to support the local community, with a focus on education, healthcare, and upgrades to bus stops and library facilities.
Avant Homes Central director Matt Barker said: “Lawrence Point is an excellent example of our commitment to providing quality new homes for everyone in locations where people want to live. The development will provide a mix of practically designed, energy-efficient home[s] that will appeal to everyone from first-time buyers, to second steppers, families and downsizers.
“We look forward to works starting on [the] new and thriving community that we are building in Eastwood. Our initial infrastructure works will include implementing further measures that effectively manage any surface water. Now that planning has been granted, we fully anticipate Lawrence Point will prove extremely popular with those living in or looking to move to Eastwood.”
Earlier this month, Avant Homes North East, part of Avant Homes Group, acquired a 15.37-acre site in Acklam, UK, for a £38m development called The Avenue.
