AMWAJ Development has celebrated the start of works on its latest residential project, Starlight Park, with a ground-breaking ceremony in Meydan’s District 11, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The event saw in attendance AMWAJ Development CFO Hassan Hijazi alongside other representatives, according to a press release posted on Zawya.
This comes after the company announced the launch of this development in April this year.
AMWAJ Development chair and founder Emad Saleh said: “We are excited to break ground on the site of Starlight Park just days after the launch, demonstrating our commitment to efficiently deliver our projects efficiently and on time.
“Our vision is to innovate and lead in introducing better, smarter and more efficient ways of delivering projects, and Starlight Park will serve as an example of this.”
The company aims to develop more than two million square feet by 2025.
Starlight Park, the four-building freehold community, marks the first of these developments to be launched this year, with additional projects set for the same year.
It is set to feature 172 apartments, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.
Each of the buildings will offer parking spaces, electric vehicle charging stations, a shared outdoor garden oasis, a rooftop pool and a gym, among others.
AMWAJ Development CEO Murad Saleh said: “Our management team brings over 25 years of diverse development and construction expertise including 11 years across Europe and Middle East markets, and we will continue to leverage that experience to deliver bespoke living experiences across prime areas of Dubai.”
The handover of the properties is expected in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026.
